Cari 17 Pendaki yang Tersesat, Tim SAR Naik ke Gunung Merbabu

Jakarta - 17 Pendaki Gunung Merbabu di perbatasan Yogyakarta-Jawa Tengah yang dilaporkan tersesat. 7 Orang anggota Basarnas Semarang malam ini naik ke gunung tersebut untuk melakukan pencarian.

"Rekan-rekan kami sudah menuju ke sana," kata Operator Radio Basarnas Semarang, Andy Yustika, saat dihubungi detikcom, Minggu (28/8/2011).

Menurut Andy, Tim SAR memutuskan untuk melakukan pencarian karena komunikasi dengan para pendaki dari SMA Sedes Bedono Jambu, Kabupaten Semarang, itu tidak bisa lagi dilakukan. Belum didapat pula tanda-tanda keberadaan mereka di gunung berketinggian 3.171 mdpl itu.

"Di mana mereka saat ini masih suram. Kami belum bisa membuat perkiraan. Nanti teman-teman yang berada di lapangan akan mengolah data-data yang ada," ucap Andy.

Andy mengatakan, para pendaki, 3 di antaranya adalah pemandu dari pramuka, mulai naik ke gunung yang bersebalahan dengan Gunung Merapi itu pada Sabtu (27/8), kemarin, sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB. Mereka naik dari pintu pendakian di Magelang.

Menurut jadwal, seharusnya murid-murid SMA tersebut sudah turun gunung pada pukul 12.00 WIB siang tadi.

"Lalu ada ibu Maria yang mengaku orang tua dari 14 murid tersebut melapor kepada kami," ucap Andy.

Pertanian Asahan Menghasilkan Mutu Kakao Nomor 3 di Dunia

Kabupaten Asahan pernah menjadi sentra kakao (coklat). Bila ditata lebih baik, kakao dari Asahan berpeluang menembus pasar dunia.
Itu karena biji kakao yang dihasilkan petani di Asahan memiliki mutu terbaik sesuai letak geografis dan kandungan tanahnya. Biji kakao Asahan tergolong nomor tiga di dunia setelah Negara Pantai Gading dan Ghana.
Hal itu diungkapkan Manajer UD Asco Jaya Kisaran, Elyan Amstrong, baru-baru ini. Menurutnya, beberapa kecamatan di Asahan merupakan penghasil kakao terbanyak seperti Kecamatan Air Joman, Tinggi Raja, Air Batu, dan Bandar Pulau. Sedangkan PH tanah dan suhu di wilayah tersebut sangat cocok dengan tanaman kakao.
“Biasanya dalam sebulan, kami berhasil mengumpulkan 800-900 ton biji kakao dari Asahan, dan sebahagian besar disupplay dari empat kecamatan itu,” ucapnya.
Namun Peraturan Menteri Keuangan (Permenkeu) 67/2010 (Pemenkeu) 67/2010 tentang pajak biji kakao yang diekspor mencapai 10 persen, sangat berdampak dengan produksi kakao di Asahan.
Elyan menambahkan, penghasilan petani menurun drastis hingga 50 persen sejak diberlakukannya Permenkeu itu. Hal ini disebabkan dana perawatan dan harga jual tidak sebanding dengan hasil yang diperoleh para petani. Kini usaha yang dikelolany6a hanya bisa mengumpulkan 300-400 ton per bulan.
“Memang peraturan tersebut sangat membebani petani. Oleh sebab itu, pada bulan Oktober 2010 peraturan itu akan dievaluasi oleh Memperindag dan Menteri Ekonomi di Jakarta. Bila peraturan itu dibatalkan atau pajaknya dikurangi maka, petani kakao Asahan akan lega. Karena harga akan kembali stabil,” ungkap Eliyan.
Untuk saat ini, kata Elyan, harga kako hanya 18 ribu per kilogram dan nilai itu belum sebanding dengan perawatan yang mereka keluarkan. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan perhatian pemerintah terhadap petani dengan memberikan sudsidi pupuk. Sehingga mereka tidak beralih dengan tanaman lainnya yang bisa berdampak buruk bagi pasaran kakao di Asahan.
“Bila petani beralih ke tanaman lain selain kakao, maka sangat disayangkan. Karena tanah dan suhu udara di Asahan sangat cocok dengan tanaman tersebut,” ungkap Elyan.
Bupati Asahan, Drs H Taufan Gama Simatupang juga pernah menyatakan, petani diharapakan mempertahankan tanaman kakao, karena tanaman tersebut lebih baik dari tanaman lainnya.
Manun sejak diterapkannya permenkeu itu, para petani di Kecamatan Tinggi Raja yang dulunya menjadi sentra tanaman kakao kini mulai beralih fungsi ke tanaman lain seperti sawit. (sus/syaf)
